The Brussels Internet & Telecom Seminar (BITS) series aims to bridge academic thinking and policy-making, exchanging knowledge and improving the regulation of telecommunications, digital economy, the Internet and media in Europe.

The BITS series was established in 2005 by the Centre for Information, Law and Society (CRIDS) of the University of Namur and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and ICT (ICRI) of the University of Leuven, in co-operation with Cullen International.

Each BITS seminar attracts top-level academics, EU and national policy-makers, regulators and industry representatives to discuss the emerging and most important regulatory issues for the Internet and beyond.

The seminars take place at the University Foundation in the heart of the European area in Brussels during the afternoon and closing with a networking cocktail.
